In 2001, Dan Grunvald and Lee Fine (read Lee’s story here) first dreamed up the concept of producing t-shirts with slogans and information related to a variety of diseases, which they called Disease Tees. Their goal was to help raise awareness and provide a tangible opportunity for people to support a cause near and dear to them.

Fast forward six years to 2007, and their vision finally became the vehicle known today as FiveHumans™, and grew with the additions of Nicole, Aaron and Shelby. FiveHumans™ is a cause related entity, and while the foundation remains the same, the concept has evolved quite a bit from what Lee and Dan had originally conceived. The intention with Disease Tees was to design and produce amusing, medical themed t-shirts, to break the ice of those taboo health related topics so many people are too afraid or embarrassed to discuss. While forming FiveHumans™, we all agreed  that our message would be more powerful with bold statements, factual statistics and hip designs.

FiveHumans™ is launching with disease related t-shirts, but plans are already in motion to expand our business and support numerous causes affecting the world. There are plenty of causes for us to wrap our t-shirts around, and with our innovative style and top notch apparel, we have what it takes to make a quality impact.

While raising awareness is a priority, FiveHumans™ intends to donate as much money as possible to our not-for-profit partners. We have designated a charitable organization for every cause we support, which will receive a donation equal to 10% of the sale price of any related products.
